first of all i want to clarify some things:

• If you don´t like Symbian based phones don´t visit the site anymore !
• If you don´t like the way i go with Symbian don´t visit the site anymore !

• Don´t ask thousends of times about i8910, and even if i provide new mods for i8910 i want to finish the HXpatcher 2.0 for N8 !

  For the others, there are news for HXpatcher @N8 :
  The idea is, that Nokia let us in the OVI store, of course, if they sign HXpatcher for us you don´t need anymore a hacked phone in ordner to install HXpatcher.
  I´m in contact with them, but we need a special “Symbian Express Signed” which needs a publisher ID and so on.
  They main problem is, that the whole procedure will cost around ~200 euro to get all certificates, in this case we need “Allfiles” capabilities.

HX-Patcher goes @ Symbian^3

Hello, Fans, followers, haters…....

Today i want to show you the first screens of the new HX-Patcher 2.0 (Symbian^3)

It hast the knowing Camera-settings tweaks and it´s full functional and written in Qt.

Now we need your help and YOUR suggestions, since this app will be for YOU you can create a new logo, that will be integrated in the app… maybe some nice lookin HX-patcher logo ? .......
We also want to try to put it in OVI-store, but we don´t know anything about that, if one of you knows about uploading apps to ovi-store, please write an e-mail.

New Update!

A new firmware is available for the Nokia N8 (PR1.1) v13.015. It´s still the skandinavia version but has also ENGLISH integrated.

Today i flashed my phone with this new firmware, and all i can say is, it not only “feels” snapier….... it´s really faster then before, e.g. you don´t have any delay when you open the app-folder.
Also the keylock is much faster, and the camera “feels” faster.
Unfortunately CAF is still not working as expected, (doesn´t focus on objects that are more then ~2m away)

But all in one the upgrade is worth a try !

For HXpatcher we are not far away from an release, we are also trying to get it in OVI-store, be excited about that !

PS: We need a programer, since we haven´t found any documentation how to force the phone to reboot. We have to integrate this feature in the new HXpatcher.

HX-Patcher for Nokia N8 is coming for sure, we got WRITE access for cenrep.
At the moment you can change all camera-related features just with on click.

It will be written in Qt this time. We will give you screenshots as soon as possible.

We are working on the HXpatcher for the Nokia N8 (Later for other Symbian^3 phones too!)
Welcome our New Member and good friend from my own in Team-HX

In the new year, we are going new ways and HX will stand also for new apps.

After having serious problems i decided to move to another server which is much more stable and can handle more traffic then before.

We will start with new projects in the new year, and i hope we can still serve you the quality which you had all the year.

Hello (remaining) fans, people, haters and followers.

I admit, it wasn´t right that i haven´t answered you the past weeks, but private problems and things that are going to change my life completely, forced me to do/ work on other things.

All i can say is, that i haven´t forgot you, and the project “Custom-roms for i8910 / Nokia N8” issn´t dead at all. It´s just a long break for me to sort my life and to come back one day. Also pana the developer of Hx-patcher is really busy with his familie like all of us these days.
I really hope that most of you aren´t angry at all and can enjoy Christmas and it´s holidays.

Let´s think what was happening the last months …. or better all the year. And what will happen the next year. I really hope that i can find more time for you to continue my work and to give you the tweaks/mods/roms which you have expected all the year.
