Many people have requested it, and now, here you got it:
No need to install any updated QT files, all QT 4.6.2 Symbian^3 QT libaries are integrated, and best of all, all can be upgraded via installation on official way !

HX-V7-QT-EDITION:
DOWNLOAD_ENGLISH,GERMAN,ITALY,FRANCE,SPAIN
wikitude (modded without QT files, easy and small installation)
gpsp4Symbian_v051 (gameboy-advance emulator, you need only the app itself, nothing else !)
PS: Amazon has canceled every N8 preorder, so there is no phone coming out in august ! It seems that Nokia has delayed the releasedate of the new N8 !!
Everyone who uses FontRouter (or Animation Plus with it) be advised to the fact that Qt is NOT compatible with FR: you’ll get lots of “WWWW”, “tttCCC” and other garbage like that instead of any letters. You’d have to disable (and reboot) the FontRouter before using Qt apps.
To faenil:
So, the latest V7 contains the modded Qt 4.6.2 by Andy, but the standalone in the ‘goodies’ section and at your site is the 4.7.0b2 version modded by you? I think that should be clarified.
And if I’m right, it would be nice if Andy provided us with the standalone version of the 4.6.2 (or is it 4.6.3? that’s the last stable, AFAIK).

There is no need to sign any nonsigned apps anymore….... it’s basically done automatically with the
Rompatcher+ (disable4all) which is built into the HX firmwares …
Just install any signed or unsigned apps makes no difference as long as you are using HyperX’s new firmwares

at the moment im at work… Of course in hxv7 there is qt 4.6.2 integrated as it apears to be the most stable version. I also was fair to publish faenil’s solution and gave him all the credits. As i know qt 4.7 has some issues with some apps and is not fully compatible to integrate it in rom.
As for the facebook upload problem, it seems that some peope have problems, and some not !? Maybe this is caused by a 3rd party app. So i need more confirmations about that !

I was wondering if there is any other differences between the HX-V7 19-7-2010 and this new HX-V7 QT Edition firmware besides the built-in QT Software? OR is the ONLY difference between the two is the QT built-in?

And if possible in V8 change the kastor transitions to faster ones man, these set isn’t great, the switch from landscape to portrait is sluggish. Simpler and faster ones would be nice. V4 had the best i’ve seen in your firmwares so far! Just my 2 cents!

But isn’t the 4.6.3 stable enough then? Anyway, it would be nice, Andy, if you provided us with your version of 4.6.2 in the standalone format. Since, if there really are some issues with the 4.7.0 (it IS still a beta after all), many of us who haven’t flashed your latest fw yet would contemplate the possibility of switching to the 4.6.2 instead. However, as the things are now, we have the only option to reflash, which isn’t what anyone would like to do on a regular basis.
And I should say that the Wikitude is an interesting app indeed. Wouldn’t think it’ll show quite many things in my immediate surroundings (even under the nearest 10 to 100 of kms)... But the main problem with it is that it asks three (!) times for the permission to use networking almost EVERY time I select an object of interest. Is this a feature of Qt? Or, more specifically, does it have to do anything with the 4.7.0?
BTW, why does this version of Wikitude have so few ‘worlds’ available? Just happened to see the Android one and awed at the difference. I do understand why we don’t have a map in it, but aren’t worlds shared evenly for the clients on any platform?

@hyperx, somethings wrong with the communities app itself. i could not upload to picasa also. the forums that suggested about empty albums and making less albums is some other error. I get the same errors same errors for facebook and picasa.

I mean, _ I know this might not work, but we should at least try_ hyperX is a wellknown name. if we manage to write a good enogh request, it could happen.
its a war bitween brands right now. specialy samsung and apple. have you heard what samsung UK is doing? its not good for them right now, that many of its former highend device arnt happy. if we speard the word, samsung might answer our demand just to get a better look compare to apple.

Most likely the reason why the sound is working for you with the Gameboy emulator is that perhaps the sound only works with certain games????? The sound did not work for me though.. Which game did the sound work with?

Does anyone know if Wikitude is sopposed to use GPS or Wlan/Wifi or both?
When I first installed it, it tried to connect to wlan/wifi and now all it does is try to get GPS connection??
I uninstalled and re installed it and still it no longer tries to connect using Wlan/Wifi???

Well today i have installed the new version, but i found a major flaw, when i try to install pips 1.6 it says already built in, at this time nothing wrong, but when i try to install NDrive it gives me the same messages, this happens because pips 1.6 is built in this application, well when i bought i8910 hd this application was offered and its free, with real maps etc, is there a way to bypass this issue in order to install this application that is also a work/leisure tool
hyperx has not even put the n97 rom in our omnia hd or not even its music player then how could u all believe that hyperx will give symbian 3 in our omnia hd…

i can’t install any qt app. the installation starts properly bud end without an error after the window with informations about ithe programm. is it pisible that this problem is cousd by running hx v7 in first version?

Shame that fontRouter isn’t working with the qt release. FontRouter really personalises the phone and makes it individual.
Can’t install OVI maps. It says that some components are built in, and then it stops installation. is there a fix?

Nope, all my games have sound. Pokemon emerald, pearl.., Zelda, Mario etc. There are many different versions of emulators and ways to download them including all the extras, i used different methods and emulators from diff websites to get the sound and everything 2 work.

hi i just downloaded this on my samsung omnia hd and i dont know how to download the games, where can i download from,what do i type in the search engine for the games,thanks for any help
to make the game emulator work you first need to download the (gba_bios.bin) file, just type in the name as i ave shown you.
Once you have that put it into a folder in the phone, then go on gooogle and type in GAME ROMS and then you just select the gameboy advance roms from the options and it should start working, but iam having trouble with the audio don’t know hwo to fis that any help?

i think that there is is a big big problem with the rom patcher – i cant install programs from the phone after i flashed to 7v – i tryed to reflashed and do all format and restarts to the phone noting helps – then i tryed to install athor ver of rompatcher the intall was succssesfull bat i still cant install nating
