Wtf ?

Reading all those comments, making me of thinking what you have expected? I mean, don’t you think i have a private life too ? Many things has changed since last year, and i’m 29 years old and i have some serious future plans that i want to realize.
Working on mods or tweaks for a device costs a loooot of free time AND sometimes it’s very anoying when you have an idea and don’t know how you can do “this” ..... Of course i said you get a last Firmware for the i8910, but sorry, i really don’t know HOW and WHAT i can do for this device… I have to admit, i am at the end of the ideas and i really don’t know WHAT to add on a future firmware. I know there are many many things that we all want to have on the i8910, but 99 % of them  simply CAN`T be realized !!!

So i changed my device to the LG P990 ….. but i was dissapointed at all of this device…. Once again i changed NOW to the Galaxy S2, and look ! It makes a lot of fun to work on it….
And that’s all it should be… FUN ! It’s not my job and i don’t sell any mods to you, it’s a hobby which makes a lot of fun when i’m working on it.(of course there is still the option to donate, but hey, we nothing in this world is for free, and if you can’t accept my opinion, then LEAVE this site)

I will never forget the time i had with the i8910 AND it’s whole community, and i still have it as my 2nd device, but i’m at the point where my skills and my experince ends to work for it.

Since, Symbian is dead…. (also for me because i’m very dissapointed …) i started to work for Android based devices,... in this case the Samsung Galaxy S2.

I want to continue the success of hx-custom-roms.com from 2009-2010 !

I have prepared a package, with the following settings:

1080p mode: Normal – 17 Mbit Fine – 24 Mbit – Super fine – 30 Mbit

720p mode Normal – 9 Mbit Fine – 13 Mbit Super fine – 17 Mbit

Both modes have audio at 48000 khz at 192 kbit

just delete Camera.apk from system/apps and copy my apk in (rooted phone needed)

Welcome back…... soon with a new Design on this page….... i moved completely to Samsung Galaxy S2

I have done my first mod, (not released yet)

You want a new i8910 Firmware? You get it ! As for now, don´t expect wonders, i can´t port any other OS on that phone, or can´t port some Symbian^3 stuff on it. And unfortunately i even can´t UPDATE HXpatcher, Panagiotis the developer of HXpatcher for i8910 leaved us since a long time. So what i can give you is a Firmware, with all knowing (new) mods and i can try to find some new. But also here, don´t expect something BIG !
I can also try to add some missing HX-Firmware language localizations…. let´s take a look what i can do for you….  It would be also very helpfull if some of you can help me to find all (new) modifications around the web. We want to build the best and last Firmware for our good old i8910 !!!!!

2nd thing is…..... I want to sell my ~6 month old Nokia N8 ….. It´s in good condition, and if someone is interessted in it, please write an e-mail to: contact@hyperx-i8910.com it will have the latest modded uda-file and it´s hacked. Other then that i will drop it to ebay.

Going ahead to Android

Maybe some of you allready read it on Facebook, i´m going to sell my N8 in order to buy the LG optimus 2X speed (P990). Why LG ?

Because the hacking/modding tegra2 community seems to grow very very fast and there are allready some custom roms out (even with overclocked CPU @ 1,2 ….1,5 ghz) . Device is fully hackable and you have full access to nearly everything. It seems LG put no restrictions in it´s system/device, so even if the support from LG´s side fails, there is the open big community which bring Android 2.3 based custom roms (I will definitely playwith it too!!)
I admit, there will be soon other devices on market too, e.g. the Samsung galaxy S2, but it´s not 100 % sure wheather  the system is so wide open like the LG´s + it seems this device will be much more expensive and not everyone hast the money + it has some custom Samsung plattform, not sure what the community can do with it.
What do you think? Is it worth a try? I´m boring with these Symbian devices

Good Bye

If we look back…. i ….. and we can remember some good times…. It was the Samsung i8910 bought me and this site alive. It was the (bad) software/firmware from samsung itself which forced us all or even some of us to work together to put the modding level in the symbian world a little bit higher.
I can remember times when this site has been visted over 10 000 times /day, People where exicted about a the new HX-VXX …. also people are fighting against me crying about bugs or whining about things that has been discussed thousends of times.
But all these things are what i am missing now….. It was more then just my hobby, it was somthing that has changed me/ or my optinion to many things in my live.
Last year i spent over 10 h / day here beside my real work….  plus…. the ideas are gone and i (allmost) alone.

But since some months the work has stopped, many things in my live has changed completely and i have some other priorities …. i quited with my girl-friend … i moved to a new town, and now i have a new girl friend and i simply don´t have so much time for this site

I also have to say that i´m really dissapointed about the whole Symbian world…. I still have my N8 and still use my i8910, but i will sell the N8 soon. I am going ahead to some Android based phone…. maybe you will see one day HX-Andoid I don´t know.

This is just what many of you allread knew, i just want to say Good bye to ya all. We all had good times together.

Bad news

Now i started the first steps to get my own symbian-signed certificate:

1. get certificate from www.trustcenter.de 200USD

2. register on www.symbiansigned.com
3. get one signing for 10eur and contact test house 4. submit your app as Certified Signed

Now the main problem is, getting the certificate from trustcenter !  They need a copy of the current business registration….. so i don´t have a company or any registered bussiness! I was directly in contact with them, but there is no other way to get this certificate ! They are ONLY selling this PublisherID to a company.
Is there another way i can try? Does anyone know how to get a publisherID on another way?
